📋 Terms of Use
1. General
This website ("the Site") is operated by Oren Edelstein ("the site owner") and provides remote technical support services — computers, Windows and Linux, networks, smartphones and information security — alongside a customer portal, request forms, chat, browser-based calls, and file sharing with authorized parties. Receiving the service is conditional on explicit consent to the Terms of use and the Privacy policy. You may read the documents, submit privacy and accessibility inquiries, and identify yourself for access handling even without consenting to receive the service.
Before entering the service you must read the explanation and the documents and check, yourself, two separate boxes: acceptance of the Terms of use and Privacy policy, and consent to the recording and processing of information and to the recording and summarizing of support calls. The boxes are not pre-checked. Visiting the site, staying silent, or giving verbal consent does not replace the checkbox confirmation required on the site.
2. The service and the pilot period
The business is being established, and the service is currently offered as a free pilot: during this period the services on the site, including support calls with Shula, are provided at no charge. When the pilot ends, a business model will be introduced on the site with full transparency, including pricing — and no charge will be made before it has been shown to you and approved by you.
3. AI-based technical support ("Shula")
- Calls are answered by an AI-based voice assistant named "Shula", configured and directed to diagnose technical faults. She introduces herself as such at the start of every call.
- Shula helps resolve faults through voice guidance, and for this purpose may draw on external information sources (manufacturer websites, operating-system documentation, and professional forums) during the call, via an additional AI service (Anthropic Claude) that receives transcript excerpts as text, as well as the screenshots the user attached to the request from which the call was opened — see the Privacy policy.
- During the pilot period, every support call is limited to about half an hour. Shula announces this as the call approaches its end and when it ends. A fault not resolved within that time is logged as a request.
- For a registered customer, Shula may draw on a summary of their previous calls (up to three from the last year) in order to continue from that point and not repeat what has already been tried.
- Technical support by call is provided to registered customers only — registration and approval by the site owner are conditions for receiving the service. During the pilot period, registration and the service are free of charge.
- The site owner does not take part in the call itself. When the fault is not resolved during the call, or at the user's request, a request is logged — and the site owner gets back to the user after reviewing the call transcript. There is no commitment to a timeframe for getting back to you.
- Information and instructions from Shula are given to the best of her ability; acting on them is the user's responsibility (see the Liability section).
4. Recording of calls — a condition for receiving the service
Support calls are recorded and documented for the purpose of providing the service, call summaries, quality control, service improvement, and documentation of the engagement. In calls with Shula the audio is processed by Google services; transcripts and attached screenshots may be passed to Anthropic services for consultation and summarizing. Oren can listen to and review the documentation, and recordings may be stored on Google Drive. Request details and correspondence are kept for handling and documentation purposes; the processing actions and providers are detailed in the Privacy policy.
Consent to the recording and processing described here is a condition for the support service. Before a call, a consent request appropriate to that call is shown. Written consent does not itself activate a microphone or camera; activating them requires a separate action. The introductory bubble before registration processes audio with Google, and may use temporary storage at the provider for continuity, but it does not keep a local recording archive the way a support call does. Sharing your screen or camera during a support call is at the user's choice and may be included in the documentation.
Anyone who explicitly chooses not to consent to the terms or to the required processing will not receive the service, and will be shown the blocked-access screen. To clarify the block, a direct call with Oren will be offered. Only Oren may restore access in the permissions system, after a call with the person concerned, an explanation of the rules, and clear consent to the terms and to the recording and processing required for the service. The call itself, re-checking a box, or refreshing the page are not automatic approval. The approval is documented as Oren's decision following a call, not as boxes checked by the customer. This is the service's policy; nothing in this claim of consent or in this mechanism cancels rights under law. An accessibility difficulty or a request to exercise rights can be submitted through the requests channel available even when the service is blocked.
A refusal is stored on the server against the verified account and a random browser identifier. This is not a guarantee of identifying the same person after cookies are deleted or after switching to another device without identifying yourself. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete prior documentation; requests regarding information already collected are handled through the privacy channel.
5. Authorized access and file sharing
Access to the portal and to files is password-protected and intended for those who have received authorization from the site owner. Passing on a password to a third party without explicit approval is prohibited. The user is responsible for securing their own access details.
6. Permitted use
- Requesting support through the forms, chat, and calls
- Using the portal and files for the purposes defined when authorization was granted
- Browsing the site to obtain information
7. Prohibited use
- Attempting to access areas you are not authorized to access
- Attempting to breach the site's protection mechanisms
- Uploading malicious files or illegal content
- Using automated means (bots, scripts) to access the site
- Sharing copyright-protected content without authorization
8. Liability
The site and the services are provided "AS-IS." Technical instructions — from Shula or from the site owner — are given professionally and in good faith, but carrying them out on your computer or device is your responsibility; it is recommended to back up important information before any action. The site owner is not liable for indirect damage caused by use of the site, the files, or the instructions.
9. Intellectual property
All files available for download are the property of the site owner or were uploaded with the permission of the rights holders. Files may not be copied, distributed, or published without explicit authorization.
10. Termination of access
The site owner may terminate any user's access at any time and without prior notice, at their sole discretion.
11. Changes to these terms
The site owner may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes agreement to the updated wording.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction is given to the competent courts in Haifa.
13. Contact
